Absolutely amazing
This place is absolute bliss. From the moment I walked in through the entrance I knew this was going to be a once in a lifetime experience. Villa furnishings are first class, the pool is a dream to swim in day or night, Restaurants close by, staff are truly amazing and nothing is too much of a problem.
I have stayed in many first class hotels around the world but this would have to top the list. Already trying to decide a time to get back there this year. Kuta beach only about 20 min away, Seminyak 10-15 and there is a great little restaurant on the beach about a 3 minute walk from the villa. If you have never stayed in a villa type setting before this is remarkable. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful & Gorgeous Resort
We love our stay at Villa Di Bucu. The villa looks exactly like what we saw in the photo. The gazebo is absolutely stunning right in front of the pool and you could literally roll yourself off the gazebo and into the pool. Luxurious and tastefully done up. Comfortable bed with ensuite outdoor bathroom in every room – bathtub & rainforest shower. It is very romantic in the evening with soothing lighting and music playing from one of the rooms. Excellent staff – always obliging and accommodating with a smile. Fresh breakfast in the morning, rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels too. There is a mini paddy field right in front of the villa which is quite interesting for city kids. A very private beach is also within walking distance about 10 minutes or so.
However, do note that the pool is about 1.6-1.8m deep with no shallow ends and shops are not within walking distance, you will need transportation which the villa staff could help you with.

As residents of near-by Phuket we were looking for a short break to relax. Villa Bucu is First Class, the staff are very attentive, the villa is exceptional in appearence and decor. 2 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes in taxi to some fantastic restaurants, well located for other areas such as Kuta Town.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the lovely welcome you arranged for us at the villa. The staff were fantastic (so helpful, quiet and discreet) and the flowers and cake made us feel very special. What a welcome from the staff !! WOW – and the villa itself is just unbelievably beautiful. We all had a wonderfully relaxing time (2 x inhouse massages, pedicures and manicures each !!!) and to end a fabulous stay, I got to watch the grand final from the pool !!!
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa. We will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family and I hope to return with Michael one day soon (hopefully in February for our 25th Anniversary – is it available around 20th?).

My family and I would like to thank you, Made and his staff for the wonderful time we had at Villa Di-Bucu. It was truly an amazingly beautiful villa and we had a very comfortable 3 nights there. Wish the holiday didn’t have to end!
Please convey our special thanks to Wayan for taking such good care of us, fulfilling our late night pizza cravings and delivering our food from the great restaurants nearby. He was always there for us and was very polite and courteous.

The villas are truly luxurious. The staff were wonderful: friendly, proficient and responsive. The food was great, the rooms were immaculate and the staff were helpful with organising whatever we needed. When we arrived they greeted us with leis, fresh coconuts and the place was lit like a fairytale. It really exceeded our expectations.
We will definitely be recommending Villa di Bucu to friends and hopefully will return ourselves in the not too distant future!

“Felt Like I was in a 6 Star Hotel!!”
The staff were totally there for us at all times and nothing was too much trouble. What a magnificent set up and beautiful Villa, best value I could find in all of Bali, and not too far from the beautiful Seminyak. We felt very safe which was important to me and the staff were fantastic with children. Cannot wait to go back. You must try this!!

Stayed at the villa with a girlfriend and our 3 kids. It was a spectacular villa service, staff, everything was great, would definitely stay there again, only problem was it was a bit far out, with the traffic so bad now it took a long time to get into Kuta. Staff were amazing, had them cook tea for us a couple of nights and the food was to die for. Fresh breakfast made every morning, step out of your room and they were there with a hot cup of tea.. fantastic pool rooms kitchen dining lounge everything was good. Highly recommend

If heaven is a place on earth then we believe we found it at Villa Di Bucu.
This is our fourth stay in a Villa in Bali and I can honestly say that Villa Di Bucu is our favourite.
It is truly a luxurious villa in a perfect location. The staff were amazing. We cannot speak highly enough of Wayan and the girls. They were extremely accommodating and could not do enough for us. Our two young boys just loved Wayan and thought that he was just the best.
Thank you to everyone for making our family holiday one to remember. We will see you all again soon.

We really enjoyed this Villa, the property is beautiful and the staff could not be faulted – they really amplified the whole experience. We arrived home in the early hours of this morning with a heavy sigh. What a fantastic villa. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff were fantastic. The arrival was beautiful and what they organised for our friend’s birthday was amazing, and we knew nothing about it. We felt like we were part of the family and it was sad to have them wave us off last night.
A note for future travellers, we found a lot of taxis knew the approximate location of where we were staying but a local told us to tell them Brauer Beach ( pronounced brower) and once we said that they knew where to go.
And also anyone who stays there must let Wayan show them the little local restaurant near by, the food was the best we have had in Bali and thats saying something!

I just wanted to follow up with you and give some feedback from our stay recently at the villa. In one word – fantastic. The villa itself is unbelievable. 6 star is how I would describe it. It is one thing to build a lovely villa and hope that will suffice, but to then have it complimented by quality bedding, towels, fittings etc etc makes the big difference. The ultimate compliment would be to say that we would love to replicate this villa in Western Australia and live in it permanently.
It is often said that in business your staff are your greatest asset and this is certainly true at Villa Di Bucu. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff and I would like to think that we developed, in some way, a friendship with each of the staff (and the little girl is gorgeous). Please thank them again for their hospitality.
We will certainly be recommending the villa to our friends.
One recommendation to consider may be the addition of a permanent driver to the villa. The biggest issue we had was getting back to the villa from various locations. On two separate occasions our taxi drivers (blue taxi’s) got completely lost and we ended up back in Seminyak where we first set out from. We used the business cards supplied to assist with directions but the only thing that really seemed to help any of the drivers was to direct them to “Canguu Club” of which the majority seemed to know of. I notice that some of the other villas advertise this service and I, for one, would certainly not mind paying an extra fee (AUS$50.00 or 400000 Rupiah per day possibly) to have this piece of mind for the family. As most things are only accessible by car, this may be an option to offer people.
Finally, congratulations on an outstanding holiday villa. The whole package made our stay a memorable one. We look forward to staying again at some stage in the future.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Villa Di Bucu in Canggu. We found it to be a very relaxing place to stay in Bali.
As a builder I was very impressed with the overall Compound. The level of finish was superb, and quality fittings and fixtures were used.
The houses are very comfortable and user friendly, my wife especially loved the bathrooms.
The staff, Made, Jayu, Wayan (female) and Wayan (male) were extremely friendly and helpful. Wayan (male) is the Security and looks after you 24 hrs a day and is great fun to chat with.
The beach is close and It is a short drive to Seminyak , where all the great restaurants and boutiques are. We also enjoyed home cooked breakfasts by Jayu and Wayan.
I thoroughly recommend this 5 Star Bali experience.

Arrived back from Bali last night, and just wanted to let you know that we thought the villa was just beautiful and the staff were fantastic, couldn’t have asked for any better.
We had the girls cook us dinner a couple of nights and the food they cooked was great and really fresh, gave the left overs to wayan security guy out the front.
Once again every detail of the villa was to high standards. the driver could not have done enough for us.
